Sanjay Bangar said that teams like Gujarat Titans and Kolkata Knight Riders can show a lot of interest in this left-handed batsman. Bangar said that Miller’s calm nature and ability to finish matches consistently makes him among the elite finishers of T20 cricket. According to him, this South African batsman could be among the three most expensive players in the auction. David Miller will be one of the three most expensive players in this auction. Gujarat Titans, for example, would benefit from his experience, while Kolkata Knight Riders could also target him, especially considering Andre Russell’s retirement and the good money they have at their disposal. Bangar said that Kolkata Knight Riders are entering the IPL 2026 auction with the highest remaining purse of INR 64.30 crore. This will give them a lot of flexibility in bidding on big players. With Andre Russell not part of the squad, Bangar suggested that Miller could be his replacement in terms of match-winning impact in the death overs.
