In the auction to be held for 2025, CSK can make a big bid on the brilliant middle order batsman South African David Miller. CSK can bid up to Rs 10 crore for Miller with a base price of Rs 1.5 crore. The reason for this is Miller's explosive style of batting. Hardly any other player has the ability to score runs as fast as he does while batting in the middle order. No target was impossible with Miller at the crease. Miller can compensate for the lack of batsmen like Raina and Rayudu in the CSK middle order.

His performance was good in 2023 and 2024 also but before the mega auction, this left-handed explosive batsman was released by GT. Bidding war is certain for Miller in the auction.

35 year old David Miller has had a brilliant IPL career. Between 2012 and 2024, he has scored 2924 runs in 130 matches, scoring 1 century and 13 half-centuries. His top score is 101 not out. Miller, who has played in T20 leagues around the world, has played for Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals and GT in IPL.
