David Movie Streaming Release Date Estimate, News & Updates

The streaming release date estimate for the animated movie David is highly anticipated among fans. Helmed by Phil Cunningham and Brent Dawes, the biblical musical adventure centers on David from the Old Testament’s Book of Samuel. It is a direct follow-up to the mini-series, Young David, on the Angel Studios’ streaming service. Now, viewers are eager to know when they can start streaming the movie from home.

So, here’s what we know so far about David’s streaming’s release date estimate, news, and updates.

What is the David movie’s streaming release date estimate?

David’s streaming release date is estimated to be sometime between February and March 2026. This is based on Angel Studios’ previous release pattern.

David will arrive on the company’s own streaming site, Angel. It generally takes about 7-9 weeks for Angel Studios’ movies to stream on its platform. Since the movie debuted in theaters on December 19, 2025, the movie could arrive on the platform anytime between mid-February to early March 2026.

The movie could also arrive on PVOD sites like Apple TV and Fandango at Home. Though the release window could be similar to its official release on the Angel app.

Angel Studios’ previous movie, The King of Kings, arrived in cinemas on April 11, 2025. Seven weeks later, on May 28, 2025, it landed on PVOD sites. However, it was only a day early before premiering on the company’s own website. Thus, if the studio follows the same release pattern, David could arrive just as estimated, in February 2026 at the earliest.
