Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have been making headlines for months now. The couple was surrounded by divorce rumours, and fans speculated that they had parted ways. However, with their recent appearance at their daughter Aaradhya’s school annual function, Abhishek and Aishwarya put all the divorce rumours to rest. Now, it’s clear to fans that everything between the couple is perfectly fine! Along with this, Aishwarya has received another piece of good news. She became the latest Bollywood star to feature on the official social media accounts of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Sharing a picture of Aishwarya from her hit film Jodha Akbar, the Academy’s media accounts made a special announcement that Jodha’s wedding lehenga from the movie will be part of an exhibition at the Academy Museum.
The caption shared with the picture read: “A lehenga fit for a queen, designed for the silver screen. In JODHA AKBAR (2008), Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s red wedding lehenga is a feast for the eyes: vibrant zardozi embroidery, centuries-old craftsmanship, and a hidden gem—quite literally. Look closely and you’ll spot a peacock, India’s national bird, made entirely of jewels. Neeta Lulla didn’t design a costume; she crafted a legacy. Step into history (and colour) at the Academy Museum’s COLOR IN MOTION exhibition.”
