Recently, India’s beloved industrialist Ratan Tata passed away, leaving behind an inspiring legacy. In his absence, one of the Tata Group’s prominent companies, Tata Motors, has celebrated a significant achievement. On the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras in Diwali, Tata Motors recorded impressive sales, with their newly launched Tata Curvv SUV capturing customers’ hearts.

Tata Motors’ Tata Curvv Sales

Tata Motors introduced the Curvv this year, a coupe SUV available in petrol, diesel, and electric variants. It was one of the most eagerly anticipated launches in the Indian automobile market, with customers eagerly waiting for it. The Curvv received a strong market response, with 8,218 units sold between August and September, according to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). This record-breaking performance even surpassed sales of Tata’s Harrier SUV.

Tata Curvv Price

The Tata Curvv has garnered a positive response for its robust safety features, earning a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP, India’s automobile safety assessment program. The Curvv is priced between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 19 lakh (ex-showroom), with the electric variant priced between Rs 17.49 lakh and Rs 21.99 lakh.

Tata Motors Sales Surge

In August, Tata Motors sold 3,455 units of the Curvv, while September saw a remarkable rise, with 4,763 units sold a 38% increase in sales month-over-month. Although detailed sales data for each variant (petrol, diesel, and electric) is not available, this upward trend highlights the Curvv’s growing popularity among customers.

Outperforming Tata Harrier

The Curvv’s average monthly sales over the past two months have exceeded the Tata Harrier, which sells around 1,700 units monthly. However, it still trails behind Tata’s Nexon, which averages 12,000 units per month, and Hyundai Creta, the segment leader, with an average of 16,000 units sold monthly.
