Death of a young man returning from New Year party, wife lashed out at her father-in-law by showing her bangles!

Sriganganagar: New Year’s celebration turned into a lifelong sorrow for a family. A 28-year-old youth returning after celebrating the New Year party in Sriganganagar lost his life in a road accident. The accident was so gruesome that the young man died on the spot. The house where Shehnai was resounding just 20 days ago, is now filled with screams. The deceased has been identified as Shivam Utreja, a resident of Shankar Colony, who was married on December 9.

Speeding car collides with roadways bus

According to information received from the police, the accident occurred near Chak 5 on Padampur bypass at around 3 am on Thursday. Shivam had gone with his wife Bhumika to celebrate the New Year party at a farm house near Padampur bypass. During the party itself, Shivam had left with his friend’s car on the pretext of some work. While going towards Koda Chowk, due to fog or bad weather, the car went out of control and rammed into a roadways bus parked on the roadside from behind. The collision was so severe that the car was blown apart and Shivam died before reaching the hospital.

High-voltage drama in the police station: fight over dead body

After the accident, a strange situation arose in the Sadar police station when two parties clashed over the rights over the dead body. On one side were Shivam’s father and family members, while on the other side his wife Bhumika had arrived with her mother. Bhumika made serious allegations against her father-in-law and sister-in-law and demanded that the body be handed over to her. The commotion continued in the police station for about two hours. Later, after the mediation of Arodvansh Samaj Trust President Ankur Maglani, a reconciliation was reached between the two parties and the last rites process proceeded.

A heart-wrenching scene was seen outside the police station. Showing the bangle in her hands, newlywed Bhumika told her father-in-law Mahendra Utreja, ‘Shivam liked this bangle very much, but because of you my world got ruined.’ Bhumika alleged that they both knew each other for 10 years, but due to family opposition, Shivam’s marriage was arranged elsewhere, which broke down within two months. After this, both of them got married in the Gurudwara on 9 December.

Bhumika alleged in front of the police and the people present there that Shivam’s father had got her property transferred to his name and had also withdrawn Rs 16 lakh from the bank account. Because of this, Shivam remained under a lot of mental stress. The wife claims that family troubles and financial crisis had broken Shivam from within. At present, the police have registered a case and started investigating the matter, but this accident has completely shattered the laughing family.
