This accident that happened on Ajmer National Highway in Jaipur has exposed corruption and negligence in the country. In this accident, 34 passengers were traveling in the sleeper bus coming from Udaipur. Out of which 20 passengers got burnt. Also, 14 passengers including the driver-conductor are missing.
The surprising thing is that the permit of the bus had expired 16 months ago i.e. on 25 August 2023. Not only this, the AITP (All India Tourist Permit) of the bus also expired on July 8, 2024.
