Debris from Iranian ballistic missile caused devastation, 12 including 5 Indians injured
New Delhi: At least 12 people were injured by debris falling after Iranian missiles were intercepted by the UAE’s air defense system in Abu Dhabi. These include 5 Indian and 6 Nepali citizens. The UAE government confirmed this on Friday. In this incident that took place in Ajban area, 6 Nepalese and 5 Indians have suffered light to moderate injuries, while one Nepalese citizen has suffered serious injuries.

The UAE’s Abu Dhabi Media Office posted on Twitter that the accident occurred in the Ajban area due to debris falling after the air defense system successfully intercepted Iranian missiles.

The Abu Dhabi Media Office appealed to the public not to spread any rumors or unverified information related to the recent Iranian attacks.
As part of the ongoing follow-up regarding the incident that occurred in the Ajban area due to falling debris after being successfully intercepted by air defense systems, officials have confirmed that 6 persons with Nepali citizenship and 5 persons with Indian citizenship have suffered minor to moderate injuries in the incident, and one person with Nepali citizenship has suffered serious injuries, the post read.

Two Indians died last month
Last month also, two Indians lost their lives in a similar accident. The Indian government had expressed grief and was coordinating with local authorities to bring back the body from Abu Dhabi.
Iranian attack on Habshan gas facility
Earlier in the day, UAE officials confirmed that Iran had attacked the Habshan gas facility, but that it was intercepted by UAE air defense systems. No one was injured in the attack, although operations at the facility were temporarily halted and emergency teams responded to the scene.
The Habshan Gas Facility is operated by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and is one of the largest gas processing sites in the world. According to the report, the Habshan complex has 14 processing trains and has the capacity to process approximately 6.1 billion cubic feet of gas per day.
UAE condemned Iran
UAE has condemned the Iranian regime. Iran has targeted civilian infrastructure in the UAE, including hotels, since the conflict with America and Israel began. Although Iran has apologized for the attacks on neighboring countries, it has vowed to target all American and Israeli assets and bases in the region.
