A custodian of textile heritage in a sense, Ambani is always promoting the essence and quality of India’s extensive craftsmanship with her quality drapes. Both her looks were customized by Manish Malhotra. One was a double Ikat Patola saree and the other was a Murshidabad silk saree and a tribute to the Bengali textile. Expressing his pleasure in working with businesswoman, the fashion designer wrote for her she is a such a pillar of inspiration with her constant support and love for Indian handlooms and textiles and always showcasing them on a global platform.”
Nita Ambani’s Latest Sarees for Vantara Inauguration
Nita Ambani is very particular when it comes to her wardrobe and how she presents herself. For the inauguration day of Vantara, Ambani’s first look was a pink handloom saree made by seven artists in a period of seven months. She captivated in a nine-motif Double Ikat Patola saree, traditionally known as the Nine Figures Adtala design.

This kind of handloom piece is made by using the intricate resist-dyeing technique. From a simple look to a specially curated ensemble, her choice of jewellery is very thoughtful and opulent. For accentuating the pink patola saree, Nita Ambani paired it with a special Ganesh necklace and an exquisite ring. What made the necklace really special was its make – it was crafted with ultra-rare conch pearls!

For her other look, she exuded elegance in a second heritage look with a twist of contemporary. This was also an ode to her her son’s passion for the wildlife.

She wore six-yards of grace in a breathtaking handwoven Murshidabad silk saree from Swadesh Online. “This was a tribute to Bengal’s rich textile heritage, the saree features traditional hand block printing, exemplifying her deep appreciation for Indian craftsmanship. A true confluence of heritage and artistry!,” read a description by Malhotra.
One can also find the elephant motifs weaved on her pallu. The saree was a radiant choice with its pink and orange hues on a beige canvas. She accessorised it with her emeralds, rubies and diamonds along with her traditional mid-parted hairbun and a red bindi.
