New Delhi: The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE) Assam has released the notification for recruitment of 4,500 teachers posts. As per the DEE Assam’s teachers recruitment notice, the application process will start on February 15. Candidates can apply for Assam DEE recruitment 2025 by visiting the official website, dee.assam.gov.in. The last date to fill out the application form is March 31.
This recruitment drive of DEE Assam will fill a total of 4,500 teachers positions in different wings which also includes the Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP). Out of the total vacancies, 2,900 are for assistant teachers of LP schools, while 1,600 posts are for Assistant Teachers, Science Teachers and Hindi Teachers of UP schools.
DEE Assam Recruitment 2025: Eligibility requirement for teacher’s post
Those who meet the below eligibility conditions are eligible to apply for the recruitment-
- Candidates must have passed Assam Teachers Eligibility Test (ATET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) (for LP or UP schools, as per the post).
The language 1 or language 2 of CTET or ATET must match the medium of instruction of the school where the candidate wants to apply. - Candidates need to be between the age of 18 to 40 years as of January 1. There is upper-age relaxation for the reserved category candidates.
- Candidates with more than two living children after January 1, 2021 are not eligible.
