Why is Diwali 2024 special?
This is the first Diwali celebration in 2024 after the inauguration of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya in January 2024. The temple was built when the Supreme Court paved the way for its construction after a case that lasted for years. The top court had also directed the government to provide a significant portion of land in Ayodhya for the establishment of the mosque.
