Defense Minister Rajnath Singh released ‘Defense Forces Vision 2047: Roadmap for Future Ready Indian Military’
New Delhi, March 10. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday released an important military vision document ‘Defence Forces Vision 2047: Roadmap for Future Ready Indian Military’. It is a comprehensive planning document prepared by Headquarters Integrated Defense Staff. Its objective is to make the Indian Army modern, integrated and technologically advanced by 2047. The government believes that by doing this the dream of developed India can be fulfilled.
According to the Defense Ministry, this document states that in view of the changing global and regional situation, new technology and security challenges, it is necessary to make strategic reforms, capability enhancement and organizational changes in the army. According to the document, the Indian Army will be made an integrated, multi-domain and extremely agile force in the future. This means that the Indian Army can face any future threat, deter enemies and protect the country’s growing strategic interests.
According to the ministry, an important objective of this scheme is to increase coordination and cooperation between the Army, Navy and Air Force. It is also an important pillar of this military document. This will help in military planning, executing operations and developing new capabilities.

This vision document aims to make the Indian Army globally respected, technologically advanced and fully combat ready by the time it completes 100 years of independence.
