AAP once again changed its candidate in Delhi, fielded councilor Aale

Delhi Politics: Turmoil has started in Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi even before the assembly elections. Here, AAP changed its candidates from Matia Mahal assembly seat on Saturday. In place of Shoaib Iqbal, his son Aale Mohammad has been given ticket from this seat. Aale Mohammad is a councilor from AAP's Chandni Mahal ward. Earlier, the party had changed its candidate from Mehrauli seat, where Mahendra Chaudhary was given the ticket in place of Narendra Yadav.

Let us tell you, Aam Aadmi Party has become the first party for the Delhi Assembly elections, which has declared its candidates on all 70 seats. Congress has released the first list of 21 candidates. The BJP list is still awaited. However, after the announcement of all the candidates, AAP has so far changed its candidates on two seats.

Mahendra Chaudhary fielded from Mehrauli seat

Earlier, Mehrauli MLA Naresh Yadav had refused to contest the Delhi Assembly elections. After this, AAP made Mahendra Chaudhary, husband of party councilor Rekha Chaudhary from Mehrauli ward, as its candidate from this seat. Naresh Yadav was recently made a candidate for the third time by the party, but he refused to contest the elections.

This is the background of Aale Mohammed

Ale Mohammad Iqbal, the new candidate from Matia Mahal seat, is currently AAP councilor from ward number 76. He had the responsibility of Deputy Mayor of MCD in 2023. His father Shoaib Iqlab has been a six-time MLA and the party had given him the ticket this time too, but now his son has been fielded from here. Aale Mohammad has been continuously elected as MCD councilor since 2012. Even in 2022 MCD elections, Aale Iqbal had registered the biggest victory as a councilor.
