Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal's announcement, people of Delhi will now get clean drinking water 24 hours.

Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and CM Atishi started 24-hour water supply in Rajendra Nagar Colony on Tuesday, in which area MLA Durgesh Pathak was also present. He drank water directly from the tap by touching his mouth. The former Chief Minister said that the water is completely clean, as you have seen that I have drank it straight from the tap. He said that every house will have 24-hour access to clean water.

When the water supply started, a woman thanked Kejriwal, while another woman said that Sir, now a mohalla clinic should be built here. The former CM said, 'We will definitely make it. Get the registration done for Rs 2100. Fill all the forms. He said that I am personally very happy with the commencement of this supply.

During the press conference, the AAP leader said, “Today I want to congratulate the 2-2.5 crore residents of Delhi. Our dream was that clean water should be available to two-three floors of Delhi 24 hours a day without pumps. Today it has started from DDA flat of Rajendra Nagar. The water is very clear and sweet.” 10 years ago when we took charge of Delhi, the tanker mafia was active, about 50 to 60 percent of the water came from tankers. But today I am happy that more than 97% of the water goes to Delhi through pipelines, and there was no clean water 24 hours a day in the whole of Delhi, but today it has started. In 2020, I had promised to supply 24-hour water supply from the third to fourth floors across Delhi, but there was a slight delay in it. Due to coronavirus, the remaining two years were due to fighting fake cases.
