Delhi Assembly Budget Session-2026: Delhi Assembly Budget Session will run from 23-25 March. Whereas CM Rekha Gupta will present the Delhi Budget on March 24. Regarding the preparations for the budget, Chairman Vijendra Gupta reviewed the preparations, in which special emphasis was laid on digital modernization. Tablets have been installed for members and the country’s first in-house AI chatbot ‘Vidhan Sathi’ will be introduced. The session will begin with the singing of ‘Vande Mataram’. He stressed that it is the shared responsibility of everyone to maintain the dignity of the House and ensure meaningful discussion.
For this session which ran till March 25, the Speaker conducted a comprehensive inspection of the operational and procedural aspects within the House, so that the proceedings were conducted in a smooth and orderly manner. Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijendra Gupta said that during the preparations for the session, special attention has been paid to technical modernization.
In a move to digitize legislative work, tablets have been installed on the desks of all members, giving them real-time access to House proceedings, official documents and legislative work. Also, to further strengthen the national character of the House, a full rendition of ‘Vande Mataram’ will be sung live by an eminent singer at the beginning of the session.
Will launch its in-house AI-enabled chatbot ‘Vidhan Sathi’ to assist members
Delhi Assembly is going to be the first assembly in the country to introduce its in-house AI-enabled chatbot ‘Vidhan Sathi’ to assist members. This AI platform will act as a dedicated legislative research assistant for members, providing data-driven accurate insights in the analysis of Bills, Acts and policy matters.
