Delhi CM Oath Ceremony: Atishi reached Raj Bhavan, will take oath as Delhi CM in a short while

New Delhi. AAP leader Atishi has reached Raj Bhavan from her Kalkaji residence to take oath as CM. AAP MLA Mukesh Ahlawat left from his residence to take oath as minister. Atishi will take oath as Chief Minister of Delhi today. The new council of ministers announced by the party includes Mukesh Ahlawat, Gopal Rai, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Kailash Gehlot, Imran Hussain.

Aam Aadmi Party said that before taking oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi, CM-designate and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi will go to meet Arvind Kejriwal at his house along with the proposed ministers. After the meeting, Atishi and other ministers will reach 'Raj Niwas' along with the party's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal. Atishi will take oath along with other ministers at Raj Niwas today.

The tenure of the Atishi government will be quite short as assembly elections are to be held in Delhi in February next year. After Arvind Kejriwal announced this resignation, Atishi was unanimously elected as the leader of the legislative party in the AAP legislative party meeting held earlier this week.

Before taking oath, AAP leader Gopal Rai said that working for the people is our priority and the people of Delhi have elected us to work.
