Delhi CM Oath ceremony Live: Atishi becomes the new Chief Minister of Delhi

Atishi has taken oath as the new CM of Delhi. LG Vinay Kumar Saxena administered the oath of office and secrecy to her. Atishi has become the third and youngest woman Chief Minister of Delhi.

Six MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) took oath as ministers, including Gopal Rai, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Kailash Gehlot, Imran Hussain, and Mukesh Ahlawat. Of these, Mukesh Ahlawat is an MLA from Sultanpur Majra and has become a minister in the Delhi government for the first time. All the other MLAs had also been ministers in the Arvind Kejriwal government.

Atishi, who has become the current Chief Minister, is an MLA from Kalkaji in Delhi. Atishi, who has a master's degree in history from Oxford University, has been a minister in departments like education, PWD, electricity, and tourism.

Saurabh Bharadwaj is an MLA from Greater Kailash and has previously headed ministries such as Health, Urban Development, and Tourism. Kailash Gehlot is an MLA from Najafgarh and has handled ministries such as Transport, Revenue, and Law.

Gopal Rai, who is the party's Delhi in-charge, also took oath. He has been associated with Arvind Kejriwal since the time of the Anna movement.

Imran Hussain is an MLA from Ballimaran, and has previously served as the Minister of Food and Civil Supplies.

Mukesh Ahlawat, who belongs to the Dalit community, became an MLA for the first time and took over the ministerial post.
