Santa Claus, who came here to distribute toffees and chocolates among the people, got hit by the increasing pollution of Delhi and suddenly fell ill. His health deteriorated due to bad air, after which he had to rest. After some time, when his health improved, he decided to wear a gas mask and reach out among the children again.

Santa Claus wore a gas mask and distributed toffees and chocolates to the children. This scene attracted people’s attention and became a topic of discussion on the seriousness of pollution.

Saurabh Bhardwaj said that before Christmas, Santa Claus came to India and the country’s capital Delhi, but the air here made him ill. He told that when Santa Claus was shown the Air Quality Index (AQI) of Delhi, he was surprised. The situation is such that now they have to wear industrial masks while going among children.

The state coordinator said that doctors and hospitals say that a large number of people are falling ill in Delhi due to pollution. The Supreme Court has also shown seriousness on this issue and has instructed the government to take effective steps. AQI remains in very poor category in many areas of Delhi including Connaught Place, Janpath.

At the same time, Santa Claus also expressed concern and said that despite wearing a mask, he was facing difficulty in breathing. The level of pollution is so high that even children are suffering its ill effects. He said that even children who never come in contact with things like smoke or cigarettes are falling ill due to pollution.
