Delhi Election 2025: Congress attacks Kejriwal on Jat reservation, says- stop shedding crocodile tears

Before the Delhi Assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, playing the Jat reservation card, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah promised 4 times to add Delhi's Jats to the OBC list but did not. In this regard, he had written a letter to Prime Minister Modi and demanded the inclusion of Jats of Delhi in the Other Backward Class (OBC) list of the Central Government. Now Congress has targeted Kejriwal on this issue by reminding him of what happened 11 years ago.

Sanjay Raut took a dig at PM Modi, said- 'PM Modi is not a human being, he is the 13th incarnation of Lord Vishnu…

Delhi Congress President Devendra Yadav has raised the question that Arvind Kejriwa had challenged the grant of OBC status to Jats in the Supreme Court in 2014 and the Central Government did not extend it properly, as a result of which he was ousted.

When Sharad Pawar praised RSS, Devendra Fadnavis said, 'He is intelligent, anything is possible in politics..'

Devendra Yadav said that Jat community was in the OBC list of Delhi during the time of Sheila Dikshit. The second UPA government had given OBC status to Jats in 7 states in 2014, but NDA did not take it forward properly, hence Jats were left out of the OBC list. Where was Arvind Kejriwal then? He said that there are some vacancies for engineers in the Environment Department of Delhi Government, why was the Jat community not considered? Could they profit from it? Delhi government has not made any new scheme to benefit OBCs in the last ten years, and children are not getting scholarships.
