Police conducted a special operation from January 7 to January 18 and recovered illegal liquor and cash. During this period, out of Rs 25,87,700 in cash, Rs 22,50,000 were caught during picket checking in Najafgarh and 61 were arrested in the case of liquor smuggling.

During the action of Delhi Police, 22898 quarters of illegal liquor and beer were recovered. 10 vehicles used in smuggling have also been seized. Four cases under NDPS Act were also registered. In the campaign against illicit drugs, 0.269 kg heroin, 25,200 tramadol capsules, and 1.940 kg ganja were seized. 388 non-bailable warrants were served. Under this, the police was also successful in arresting 5 criminals.

To curb crime during the elections, the police team registered 12 cases of arms smuggling and arrested 15 people. 13 country-made pistols, 26 live cartridges and 5 knives were seized from the monitored criminals. Police registered 26 cases under Delhi Property Defamation Act and arrested 3 people.
