Delhi Elections 2025: If Congress comes to power, LPG cylinder for Rs 500, free ration kit and 300 units of electricity free.

New Delhi. The Congress party on Thursday said that if it comes to power in Delhi, it will provide LPG (domestic cooking gas) cylinders for Rs 500, free ration kits and free electricity up to 300 units to Delhi residents. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made the announcement while addressing a press conference along with All India Congress Committee (AICC) Delhi in-charge Qazi Nizamuddin and Congress Delhi unit chief Devendra Yadav.

Reddy said that if Congress comes to power in Delhi, it will fulfill its five guarantees. Congress had announced its 'Pyaari Didi Scheme' on January 6, promising to provide monthly financial assistance of Rs 2,500 to the women of Delhi if voted to power. The party announced its 'Jeevan Raksha Yojana' on January 8, under which it promised free health insurance of up to Rs 25 lakh. The party on Sunday also promised to give Rs 8,500 every month for one year to educated unemployed youth in Delhi. Voting for the 70-member Assembly in Delhi will be held on February 5 and counting of votes will take place on February 8.

I want to tell the people of Delhi that whatever Congress says, it does.

The Chief Minister of Telangana said that we have tried to fulfill all the promises that Congress had made to the people during the elections in Telangana. Similarly, we will fulfill the promises we have made to the people of Delhi. Farmers' debt has been a big issue in the state of Telangana, but within a year we have waived off loans worth Rs 21,000 crore of more than 25 lakh farmers. After independence, no state government gave such a huge loan waiver, but we kept our promise. We gave more than 55,000 government jobs in Telangana in 1 year. Women have free bus facility in Telangana. People are getting gas cylinder for Rs 500. We have done it in Telangana by getting 200 units of free electricity, so I want to tell the people of Delhi that whatever Congress says, it does it.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that Congress should form the government in Delhi. We will fulfill our promises. I am saying this because Sheila Dikshit ji has shown development in Delhi in 15 years. There is no difference between Modi and Kejriwal, because the work of both is only to lie. The people of Delhi gave many opportunities to Modi and Kejriwal, but they did not do any work. If you want to improve the situation in Delhi then bring about change and form the Congress Party government. Congress has kept its promise in Telangana and will keep it in Delhi also.

Delhi unit chief of Congress Devendra Yadav said that taking inspiration from 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' and 'Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra', we went to every house of Delhi under 'Delhi Nyaya Yatra'. We talked to people, listened to their problems, the result of which are our guarantees. Which we will implement in the first cabinet after the formation of the government. Our guarantee for the people of Delhi. We will also give free gas cylinder and ration kit for Rs 500 under the inflation relief scheme. This ration kit will contain 2 kg sugar, 1 liter oil, 6 kg pulses and 250 grams tea leaves. Apart from this, we will provide 300 units of free electricity under the Free Electricity Scheme. Under these guarantees, we will provide relief to the people of Delhi, so that they remain free from the worry of inflation.
