Delhi government adopts zero-tolerance approach against unauthorised construction, says CM Rekha Gupta

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday reaffirmed the Delhi government’s zero-tolerance policy towards unauthorised construction, stating that extensive inspections have been carried out across the national capital to identify and curb illegal building activities.

According to the Chief Minister, the Revenue Department conducted inspections at 124 locations across various districts and issued multiple notices as part of the government’s enforcement efforts. The action comes amid heightened concerns over building safety following recent incidents involving structural collapses and fire accidents in the city.

Citywide inspection drive targets illegal construction

Providing details of the ongoing campaign, Gupta said officials inspected 124 sites across Delhi to check violations related to unauthorised construction.
