Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that the policy of the Delhi government is very clear – there will be no tolerance towards corruption at any level. The Chief Minister said that honesty, sensitivity and full accountability is expected from the officers who are directly involved in public affairs. He bluntly said that if an officer is negligent or is found involved in corruption, he has no right to continue in government service.

The CM warned that any kind of negligence in work will not be tolerated, especially those works which are directly related to the public, they should be given top priority. He instructed all the officers that strict action would be taken against any dereliction of duty.

CM Rekha Gupta said that this action is just a beginning and example. He clarified that if any complaint of corruption comes forward against any department or officer, the government will take strict action without any pressure and discrimination. Giving a strong message to the officers, the Chief Minister said that only those officers will work in the Delhi government, who perform their responsibilities with honesty, transparency and a sense of public service. He bluntly said that there is no place for corruption or negligence in the government.
