Delhi Khel Mahakumbh 2026: Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan made brand ambassador, expressed gratitude, said- this responsibility is a matter of honor

New Delhi. Delhi Government has appointed cricketer Shikhar Dhawan as the brand ambassador of Delhi Khel Mahakumbh. Education Minister Ashish Sood announced this after meeting Shikhar Dhawan in the presence of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. The Education Minister said that Shikhar Dhawan himself has come forward and accepted the responsibility of becoming the brand ambassador for the Delhi Khel Mahakumbh, which is going to start from 13th February. He said that Dhawan took this decision inspired by the Delhi Government’s commitment towards sports and efforts to advance the youth.

The Minister expressed confidence that his guidance and inspiration will give new energy, confidence and identity to the young players of Delhi. CM Rekha Gupta expressed gratitude to Shikhar Dhawan on this occasion and said that his association will become a source of inspiration for the players of Delhi.

He appreciated Dhawan’s contribution towards the youth of Delhi. At the same time, Shikhar Dhawan said that it is an honor for him to become the brand ambassador of Delhi Khel Mahakumbh. Delhi has given him a lot and he is always ready to serve this soil. He said that Delhi Government has created an excellent platform for the youth and they will make every possible effort to provide full support to the players.
