Delhi Map Change In New Year: The map of Delhi is going to change in the new year. Now there will be 13 districts in Delhi instead of 11. Shahdara district will be abolished. Rekha Gupta government is working rapidly to implement the new map of Delhi. The process of district reorganization in Delhi may be completed by the end of this month or by January. The government says that this will speed up administrative work and people will get better facilities.
The government plans to present it in the cabinet soon. Some time ago this proposal was sent to the cabinet by the Revenue Department. But due to some technical hurdles this could not be discussed in the cabinet.
According to Delhi Municipal Corporation (Delhi MCD), now there is a possibility of formation of 13 districts. A consensus has been reached on this. Municipal Corporation has 12 zones and NDMC and Cantt area are separate. In the new system, 12 districts will be formed according to the 12 zones of the Municipal Corporation and one district will be formed by combining NDMC and Cantt area.
Let us tell you that currently there are 11 districts in Delhi. In such a situation, many administrative problems arise. Because Municipal Corporation has 12 zones and NDMC and Delhi Cantt area are separate. To overcome this problem, Delhi government is preparing to create 13 revenue districts.
