Forest Department issued notices for removal of religious places built in Aravalli hills

Now the Forest Department has taken a tough stand against some religious places built in the Aravali hills. The department has issued an ultimatum of 15 days to remove illegal constructions. If the constructions are not removed within the stipulated time, legal action will be taken by the Forest Department. According to sources, the department has pasted two notices in the temple premises and has also ordered the local people to remove the illegal construction.

Rohit Solanki, accused of firing at Lawrence Bishnoi’s lawyer, arrested

Delhi Police has achieved great success in the recent firing incident in Kashmiri Gate area. Police has arrested Rohit Solanki, the main accused of Rohit Godara gang. According to the police, Solanki had attacked the legal team of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Lawrence Bishnoi’s lawyer Deepak Khatri and his associates were targeted in this attack. This incident took place last Tuesday, when Solanki and his associates opened fire in the Kashmiri Gate area. What is Delhi Government’s ‘Lakhpati Beti Scheme’?

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday announced several welfare schemes for women and daughters on the occasion of Holi. During this, he launched ‘Delhi Lakhpati Beti Yojana’. The objective of this scheme is to provide financial security to daughters from birth till graduation. Under the scheme, the government will deposit Rs 61,000 in the account of every daughter who completes graduation. This amount will amount to approximately Rs 1.25 lakh on maturity. The Chief Minister said that with this initiative the daughters of Delhi will become ‘Lakhpati’ and they will be encouraged to pursue higher education.

Contempt notice to 51 private hospitals of Delhi

Taking a tough stand on the matter of not providing free treatment and reserved beds to poor patients, the Supreme Court has issued contempt notices to 51 private hospitals of Delhi. The court clarified that it is mandatory for hospitals taking land at concessional rates to follow the prescribed conditions. During the hearing, the Supreme Court also reprimanded the government and the land allotting agencies. The court said that if hospitals have been given land at concessional rates, then in return it is their legal responsibility to provide free treatment and a fixed number of beds to poor patients.

Registration for Pink Saheli Smart Card started at 50 centers

A major change has been made in the free bus travel system for women in Delhi. Now, to avail the benefit of free bus travel in the capital, it will be mandatory for women to make ‘Pink Saheli Smart Card’. The Rekha Gupta-led Delhi government has discontinued the Pink Ticket Scheme, which was started during the tenure of the Aam Aadmi Party government. This scheme was implemented under the leadership of former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, under which women were issued pink tickets for free travel in buses. Under the new system, now only those women who have a valid ‘Pink Saheli Smart Card’ will be able to travel free. The government says that this step will make the system more transparent and technically sound.

Deceased Anrup Gupta was murdered by his own friend Happy along with his associates. According to the police, the accused first called Anrup Gupta through honey trap. After this, he was murdered and robbery was carried out. After the murder, to hide the identity, the dead body was cut into pieces and thrown into the Yamuna River. Delhi Police team solved the case on the basis of technical investigation and local input. Four accused have been arrested in this case.
