Delhi Division of Northern Railway has made a comprehensive plan for the safety of passengers and crowd management on the occasion of Holi. Under this, there will be special arrangements at four major stations of Delhi, New Delhi, Anand Vihar, Old Delhi and Nizamuddin from 26 February to 4 March. According to railway officials, during this period, additional deployment of security personnel will be made to control the crowd of passengers and make the journey smooth. Along with this, passengers coming and going in the station premises will be managed through barricades and guidance system.

Strictness on industrial pollution in Delhi-NCR
The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has imposed new and strict rules to control industrial pollution in Delhi-NCR. Under this, the maximum limit of particulate matter (PM) emission has been fixed at 50 milligrams per cubic meter for all identified industries. This decision has been taken on the basis of the study by IIT Kanpur, which aims to improve the air quality of the area and protect the health of the people. According to the new rules, large industries will have to implement these standards by August 1 and other industries by October 1. The Commission believes that this will help in bringing about a permanent reduction in industrial pollution and will prove to be an important step towards cleaning the air of Delhi-NCR.

Burnt private parts with sanitizer, made nude video
A horrific incident that happened with a 19 year old girl from Tripura in a PG in Gurugram has come to light. Police said that the girl’s live-in partner Shivam was continuously harassing her. Investigation revealed that the accused burnt the girl’s private parts by pouring sanitizer on them. Along with this, the accused also recorded the video of the assault. The officer said that during custodial interrogation it was also revealed that the accused was pressurizing the girl to have a physical relationship with him. During the incident, the girl escaped from his clutches and called her mother and asked for help. The police took immediate action and took the girl to a safe place. Shivam has been arrested and taken into custody. The police is seriously investigating the case on the basis of video and other evidence and legal action is being taken against the accused.

Delhi 2026-27 budget may be presented in the third week of March
Rekha Gupta-led Delhi government is likely to present the annual budget for financial year 2026–27 in the third week of March. Preparations regarding the budget have intensified and the phase of brainstorming with various departments is about to begin. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is likely to start important meetings with senior officials of the finance and planning departments from Monday. ‘Robber groom’ caught in Delhi: Delhi Police has exposed an inter-state matrimonial fraud gang that was duping women of gold jewelery worth lakhs of rupees on the pretext of marriage in the capital. Police have arrested two accused Abhishek Singh and Karan Sharma in this case. According to the police, the accused used to contact women using fake identities and cheat them of gold jewelery and cash on the pretext of marriage. After this they would run away with the stolen goods.
