The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in Delhi on Saturday and Sunday, due to which the temperature is expected to fall further. Delhi weather
There is a possibility of dense fog in some areas in the capital Delhi today. Along with this, due to light rain and strong winds, the maximum temperature is expected to be 15 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 8 degrees Celsius. Light drizzle and fog may persist on January 12. The temperature may remain between 7 to 9 degrees Celsius in the next few days.
Punjab and Haryana
Light rain and dense fog are forecast in Punjab today. Dense fog may persist in the state from 12 to 14 January. Yellow and orange alert of dense fog has also been issued in Haryana. There is a possibility of light rain in Chandigarh.

Rain and snowfall is expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. The temperature may reach minus in the higher altitude areas of Jammu and Kashmir. There is a possibility of thunderstorm and rain along with cold in Uttarakhand and Himachal.
Uttar Pradesh and Bihar
There may be light rain in 36 districts of Uttar Pradesh, due to which the cold is likely to increase. Some relief from cold is expected in Bihar till Makar Sankranti, but on January 12, there may be light rain in Buxar, Bhojpur and other districts. There may be rain in some parts of Rajasthan. The cold wave will continue. The Meteorological Department in Jaipur has predicted a drop in temperature due to cold and rain.
