March-like heat in Delhi-NCR in February itself, weather will change from February 16, IMD warns of storm and rain
Delhi-NCR And now there has been a big change in the weather in entire North India. The month of February is still going on, but the sun is shining brightly during the day and it seems as if March or summer has started. One is feeling hot throughout the day, and even in the evening, one feels much less cold than before. Only in the morning there is light mist and some coolness remains. Today, on Valentine’s Day i.e. 14th February, the weather is going to be almost similar.
The sky will be clear in Delhi, there will be a lot of sunshine and there is no hope of rain. You will feel a little cold in the morning, but as the day progresses, the heat will increase. The temperature is also increasing rapidly in the surrounding areas like Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram and Faridabad. There will be strong sunshine tomorrow i.e. on 14th February, due to which the heat will be felt even more. Due to lack of rain, the level of pollution in the air has started increasing again. People are now wearing less warm clothes, but a light sweater or shawl may be necessary to keep cool in the morning and evening.
Weather will change till 18-19 February
According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), a new Western Disturbance is coming from February 16. This will affect the weather of Haryana, Punjab and hill states (like Himachal, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir). Due to its effect, there may be rain with strong thunderstorm in some parts of Delhi, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh around 18-19 February. This change will come suddenly, so caution will have to be taken in those days.
How will the weather be in the mountains?
Winter still persists in the hilly areas. The weather will keep changing in Uttarakhand for the next 1-2 days. The sky will be covered with clouds in districts like Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh. There is snowfall along with light rain and may occur. The temperature has dropped due to unseasonal rain and snow, due to which severe cold is being felt. There is an alert of fog and cold wave in the plains, so walk carefully on the roads in the morning. There will be scattered clouds in the Himalayan regions from 14 to 16 February and light rain or snowfall may continue, due to which the feeling of cold will remain there.
It’s cold in Bihar right now
Now the feeling of heat has started in South India, North-East and Western parts too. The weather in Bihar is stable. No major change is visible in the next 24 hours. There is no possibility of rain in any district. However, light to moderate fog may prevail in many districts in the morning. There is a fog warning in districts like Patna, Saran, Bhojpur, Buxar, Jehanabad, Gaya, East Champaran, West Champaran, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Saharsa and Bhagalpur. Today the maximum temperature in Patna can be around 26 degrees Celsius and the minimum can be around 12 degrees Celsius.
