Delhi-NCR Weather Update: Rain alert amid scorching heat, know when will you get relief
New Delhi/NCR: In Delhi, the heat of May is being felt in the month of March itself. The maximum temperature recorded at Safdarjung Observatory yesterday was 35.8°C, which is 6.9°C above normal. The mercury also remained between 35°C to 37°C in areas like Palam, Ridge and Aya Nagar. However, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has now given relief news for the people of Delhi. Weather Alert for the next 3 days (14-16 March) According to the Meteorological Department, a new Western Disturbance is going to be active, due to which the weather pattern will completely change on the weekend: 14 March (Saturday): The sky will be partly cloudy. The maximum temperature is expected to be between 33°C to 35°C. March 15 (Sunday): This day can be the most relaxing. There is a possibility of thunderstorms with light rain or drizzle over Delhi and NCR (Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram). 16 March (Monday): Cloudy sky and the temperature will continue to drop, providing slight respite from the heat.
