Delhi Police summons Indian Youth Congress President Uday Bhanu Chib in case of AI Summit Protest, investigation intensified
Tezzbuzz Desk- Delhi Police has intensified action after the shirtless demonstration by Indian Youth Congress (IYC) workers during the recently held India AI Impact Summit in Delhi. The police have now summoned the organization’s national president Uday Bhanu Chib to Tilak Marg police station and issued a summons for questioning.
It is being told that in this controversial demonstration, the workers raised slogans against the Prime Minister and protested against the India-US trade agreement. During the demonstration, the police immediately detained the workers and took them to Tilak Marg police station and registered an FIR.
Police have arrested five accused, which include-
Krishna Hari (Bihar)
Kundan Yadav (Bihar)
Ajay Kumar (Uttar Pradesh)
Narasimha Yadav (Telangana)
Jitendra Yadav (Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior)
The police have imposed serious sections like criminal conspiracy, causing hurt to a public servant, obstructing a public servant in his duty, illegal assembly and common intention in this case. The investigation is also looking at who else was involved in this demonstration and under which schemes this action was taken.
Youth Congress has shared the information about police summons on social media. After this incident, discussions have intensified in the political circles and many officials and workers of the organization are keeping an eye on the situation outside the police station.
During further investigation and inquiry of this matter, it will become clear what strategies and participation of people were behind the demonstration.
