Delhi Police to reserve 20 percent constable posts for ex-Agniveers

Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena approved the new rule of giving 20% ​​reservation to former Agniveer soldiers in Delhi Police constable recruitment.

Agniveer Recruitment News: There is big news for Agniveer soldiers. Now former Agniveer soldiers will get 20% reservation in Delhi Police recruitment. This new reservation rule was announced by Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena has approved. With this decision, the future of the soldiers retiring from Agniveer posts will be secured.

20% of the total posts in Delhi Police will now be reserved for former Agniveer soldiers.

Ex-firefighters will be given a relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit.

Firefighters retiring from the first batch will be given a special relaxation of 5 years.

Apart from the age limit, Agniveers will be completely exempted from Physical Efficiency Test.

Under this recruitment, there will be recruitment on more than 42,000 constable posts.

Recruitment is to be done on 42,451 constable posts in Delhi Police. Applications and notifications for this are likely to be issued soon. As soon as the recruitment process starts, the rules applicable to Agniveer soldiers will also come into force.

Requirements for candidates applying for Delhi Police Constable Posts:

It is mandatory to have passed 10+2 from a recognized board/institute.

The minimum age is fixed at 18 years and maximum age is 25 years.

Ex-Agniveer soldiers will be given relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
