At present only Grape-4 will be applicable in Delhi-NCR. The Supreme Court on Monday said that we cannot go to Stage 3 or 2 until the court is satisfied that there is a sustained decline in AQI. However, the court has been lenient regarding schools and has asked the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) to take a decision.
Before Delhi Assembly elections, Congress made major changes, made Qazi Nizamuddin in-charge, Imran Masood in the screening committee.
The Supreme Court asked the CAQM to immediately consider whether schools can be exempted from physical classes. The court said that a decision can be taken keeping in mind the facts that some children are deprived of mid-day meal and do not have the necessary facilities to study online. At present, online classes are running in all the schools in Delhi-NCR.

The court said that the next hearing of the case will be on Thursday. A bench of Justice Augustine George Masih and Justice Abhay S Oka said, 'Until we are satisfied that there is a steady decline in AQI, we will not order any restriction below GRAP-3 or GRAP-2. Can't give.'
The Supreme Court said that GRAP-4 has affected many parts of the society. Under the CAQM Act, it has the authority to give instructions to various officials so that the employees and common villagers are not harmed. Thus, we advise CAQM to follow various mitigation measures under Section 12 of the Act.
Show us the order of Delhi government…
During the hearing, the Court Commissioner told that the trucks were checked by private operators and no additional police force was sent for this. Justice Abhay S Oka said that show us the notification of Delhi government, in which teams were formed to manage such marks. The Delhi government replied that municipal corporation employees, civil defense workers and Delhi Police officers were deployed at the exit points. On this Justice Oka said that we should show the police what to do. The court said that if it is not so, then how will the police work.
Neither staff nor barricades at many points
The Supreme Court said that without seeing the report we can say that there are still no investigation points. The Supreme Court said that we wanted to know whether there are check posts which ban the entry of such trucks. The Court Commissioner said that some personnel from the Delhi Government Transport Wing was checking, but it remains to be seen how effective it was. We looked at 83 checkpoints, each with a different definition. Policemen were jumping into the middle of the road to stop the trucks, and the lives of the policemen are also in danger because there is no barricading there.
