According to CPCB data, at 7 am AQI was 419 in Mundka, 412 in Bawana, 398 in Ashok Vihar, Jahangirpuri 398, 395 in Rohini, 388 in Punjabi Bagh, 381 in Sonia Vihar, 373 in RKpurma, 370 in Burari, Dwarka sector. 355 were recorded in eight, 354 in Najafgarh and 327 in ITO.
Different categories of AQI
Let us tell you, AQI between zero to 50 is good, AQI between 51 to 100 is satisfactory, AQI between 101 to 200 is moderate, AQI between 201 to 300 is bad, AQI between 301 to 400 is very bad, AQI between 401 to 450 is severe. An AQI above 450 is considered very severe.

Visibility was 800 meters
On Tuesday, AQI remained in the poor category continuously above 370. However, compared to Monday, there has been a decrease of eight points. Visibility in Safdarjung was 800 meters at 6.30 am on Tuesday. In other areas including Anand Vihar, AQI was recorded in the severe category. After Delhi, Gurugram remained the most polluted in NCR. Delhi's air remained in poor category. The Meteorological Department fears that the wind may reach severe category during Chhath Puja. Experts say that if the temperature drops further, Delhi can become a gas chamber.
Winds will blow from different directions
According to IITM, winds blew from different directions on Tuesday. During this period the wind speed was four to eight kilometers per hour. Even on Wednesday, winds can blow from different directions. Winds are expected to blow from different directions on Thursday and Friday also. During this period the wind speed can be four to eight kilometers per hour.
