Delhi News: A case of firing has come to light from Seelampur, Delhi, in which a youth died. The deceased has been identified as Tariq Hasan. This incident is being reported on Tuesday evening. According to the police, at around 5.30 pm, information was received from GTB Hospital that a youth injured by bullet has been brought to the hospital. Doctors declared him dead after investigation.

Initial police investigation has revealed that Tariq Hasan had come to Seelampur at around 1:15 pm on Tuesday afternoon to attend the funeral of his friend’s father. After the funeral, he along with his friend Saddam had gone to eat food at a biryani shop located in K-Block of the area. It is being told that both of them reached the shop at around 3 o’clock.

According to eyewitnesses, after eating biryani, Saddam went inside the shop to wash his hands, while Tariq remained standing outside. Meanwhile suddenly Tariq sat on the ground. When Saddam came out, Tariq told him that he had been shot. On hearing this, Saddam got scared and immediately took Tariq to GTB hospital in a nearby auto rickshaw.
Police checking CCTV
On reaching the hospital, doctors examined Tariq and declared him dead. There was a stir in the area after this incident. On receiving the information, the police also immediately reached the hospital and took information about the matter. The police have registered a case of murder in this matter. At present it is not clear who shot and why. The police are interrogating the people nearby and the footage of CCTV cameras installed around the incident spot is also being scrutinized so that the accused can be identified.
Investigation is being done from every angle
Police officials say that the matter is being investigated from every aspect. Initially it is also being seen whether this is a case of mutual enmity or the firing took place due to some other reason. The situation will be clear only after the investigation is completed.
