Demand for Lo Bolo Vandara increased in China, price reached Rs 25 lakh

Beijing, 2 January 2026: With the beginning of the new year, a strange boom is being seen in China. In China, the Vandars which were earlier available for a few thousands, now their price has increased to Rs. Has reached 25 lakhs. The surprising thing is that, not only private companies, but also the government agencies of President Xi Jinping are purchasing vehicles at very high prices. The Chinese government has also appealed to the common citizens to help in the breeding and rearing of monkeys.

China wants to establish its dominance in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors across the world. In the year 2025, China has conducted large-scale trials of new variants of Mpox, Corona and cancer vaccine. Apart from this, China is also currently doing serious research on ‘anti-aging’ vaccine. Before testing any vaccine or medicine on humans, it is mandatory to test it on monkeys, due to which there is a huge pressure on monkeys in Chinese laboratories.

According to the report of ‘Financial Times’, earlier in 2021, when there was a race to make Corona vaccine, even then the price of vaccines in China was Rs. Reached 25 lakhs. After 5 years the same situation has arisen again. Currently in China, vaccine trials are conducted on an average of 25 thousand vaccines every year, but this year the number of trials is increasing and the vaccines are being lost in the local market.

Chinese pharmaceutical companies are now importing medicines from abroad also. Experts believe that if the situation worsens, smuggling of birds may increase. When a similar shortage was created in the year 2021, China met its needs by illegally importing mosquitoes from countries like Cambodia.

Use of bio-chemical methods for reproduction

According to China’s NHP Breeding and Development Association, China is emphasizing on increasing the number of monkeys through natural breeding as well as bio-chemical methods. China bred a record-breaking 30,000 monkeys in 2021, yet this number falls short of current needs.
