Dengue Vaccine: Now no need to arrange platelets for dengue, India has achieved a big achievement

As soon as the rainy season ends, the fear of dengue starts increasing rapidly. Thousands of cases of this disease caused by mosquitoes start coming to light. In many cases, the condition of patients becomes very complicated and their platelets start falling. Along with home remedies, it may even involve transfusion of platelets. Now the Indian Council of Medical Research has given relief news regarding dengue. India has prepared dengue vaccine and work on its final trial is going on.

Dengue vaccine made in India

Dr. of Indian Council of Medical Research on Wednesday gave information about the vaccine made for dengue. He told that dengue vaccine is made in India, while its technology was developed by NIH of America. They could not make this vaccine. But, an Indian company has completely manufactured this vaccine.

Work is going on on the vaccine

He further said, “Similarly, work is going on on another vaccine, which is for zoonotic disease. This vaccine has also been made in India, which has been made in collaboration with ICMR. The tests of this vaccine on small animals have been positive. Now it will be tested on big animals and then on humans. We have also received approval for the first trial.”

He told that this vaccine has been prepared in India, while its technology has been developed by NIH of America. Although NIH was not successful in making it, but the Indian company has completely developed it.

Gu vaccine has been endorsed by ICMR and the Drug Control General has approved its Phase 3 final trial. Its results will be known in the next two years. If the results are positive then we will be able to start using this vaccine. This will be an important vaccine, which has been specially made in India for dengue.

Second vaccine for zoonotic disease, work is also going on on another vaccine, which is for zoonotic diseases. This has also been developed in India and is being made in collaboration with ICMR. The tests conducted on small animals of this vaccine have been positive. Now it will be tested on large animals and then on humans, the first test of which has been approved
