Due to low visibility near Katghar area on Delhi-Lucknow National Highway, two trucks went out of control and collided with the divider. An eyewitness said, “The fog was so dense that nothing could be seen even a few meters ahead. The first truck applied brakes and hit the divider, even the truck behind could not escape.”

One person suffered minor injuries in the accident, who was immediately admitted to a nearby hospital. It is a matter of relief that there was no one else in both the trucks and there was no major loss of life or property. However, the trucks were badly damaged.

As soon as the information was received, the police and crane team reached the spot. Work was done to remove the trucks and after some time the traffic was gradually normalized. Police interrogated the drivers and registered a case.
