India’s No. 1 Electric Commercial Vehicle Manufacturer Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML) ushered in a new era in last mile mobility with the launch of the all-new electric three-wheeler ‘Mahindra Udo’. The ex-showroom price has been set at ₹3,84,299, and for a limited period, the e-auto will be available at a special price of ₹3,58,999.

Aircraft-inspired design, segment-first monocoque construction

Based on the ‘autoplane’ concept, the Udo’s aerodynamic design, powerful headlamps, stylish mirrors and large windshield create a distinct identity on the road. Using a full monocoque structure for the first time in the segment results in a stronger build and improved ride quality. The design is led by Mahindra’s design team and aims to elevate the professional image of the driver.

A comfortable ‘pilot seat’ and a first-class passenger experience

The Udo features a 20% thicker ‘pilot seat’ for the driver. It offers ‘first-class’ seating with more legroom and headroom for passengers, while independent rear suspension and dual-fork front suspension ensure a smooth ride even on bumpy roads.

200 km actual range; Smart Drive Modes

The Udo offers a range of up to 200 km in actual use (ARAI certified 265 km). It gets 10 kW of peak power and 52 Nm of torque from an IP67-rated 11.7 kWh lithium-ion battery, PMS motor. There are three drive modes available namely ‘Range’, ‘Ride’ and ‘Race’, with the ‘Race’ mode offering a top speed of 55 kmph. Regenerative braking, industry-first reverse throttle, hill hold assist and creep function enable more precise control in traffic.

The company is offering free service up to 1 lakh km, accident insurance cover of ₹20 lakh and other benefits under the ‘Uday NXT’ scheme.

The Udo will be manufactured at Mahindra’s state-of-the-art plant in Zahirabad. According to the company, this is an important step towards making last mile mobility more dignified and sustainable.
