“Devils kill, Muslims save”, Chief Imam’s hair-raising statement on Bondi Beach massacre!
The horrific attack on the famous Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia has shaken the whole world. On this painful incident, Chief Imam of All India Imam Organization, Dr. Imam Omar Ahmed Ilyasi has given a strong statement expressing deep sorrow.
“Islam is the name of saving life, not of taking it.”
Chief Imam Ilyasi said that what happened on Bondi Beach is extremely sad and condemnable. No amount of condemnation of this incident is enough. He said in clear words, “The one who killed was a devil, the one who saved was a Muslim. Islam is the name of saving life, not of taking life.”
Ilyasi further said that nowadays some people are spreading fundamentalism and terrorism in the name of Islam. Terrorist organizations are defaming the name of Islam. Now the time has come for the world to unite and root out fundamentalism and terrorism.
Special prayers will be offered in 55 thousand mosques
The Chief Imam announced that on behalf of about 5.5 lakh mosques of India, special prayers will be offered on the coming Friday for the peace of the souls of all the innocent people killed in this attack. He said, “Humanity is our biggest religion.”
PM Modi also expressed deep sorrow
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also expressed grief over this horrific attack. PM Modi said that on behalf of the people of India, he expresses his deep condolences to all the families who lost their relatives. He clearly said, “India stands strongly with Australia in this hour of grief.”

What happened on Bondi Beach?
In fact, on December 14, the Jewish holy festival Hanukkah was being celebrated with great pomp at Sydney’s Bondi Beach. Thousands of people were immersed in celebration when suddenly two attackers started firing indiscriminately. Within no time there was chaos on the spot. 15 people were killed and more than 24 people were seriously injured in this attack. The good thing was that one attacker was killed on the spot.
