‘Who is the Prime Minister or who is the Chief Minister?’
‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ and ‘Bigg Boss 13’ fame Devoleena Bhattacharjee shared a long post on her ex account late on Wednesday night. He started his post with a big question. Devoleena wrote, “It does not matter who is the Prime Minister of the country, who is the Chief Minister of the state or which political party is in power. If a government cannot keep its citizens safe, cannot control rising crimes, cannot provide timely justice to people and cannot enforce the law equally for all, then what is the real purpose of governance?” His comment quickly went viral on social media and thousands of people reacted to it.
‘Common citizens are worried, where is the equality of law?’
In her post, the actress raised questions on the system and said that if influential people continue to get special facilities and common citizens continue to struggle, then the principle of equality before the law becomes weak. He wrote, “If influential people continue to get special privileges and protection, while common citizens continue to face oppression, insecurity and endless struggle, then where is equality before law?” Devoleena also said that the country has the capability to successfully carry out many complex and big national missions, but when it comes to the security of common citizens, sometimes the system appears weak.

‘Why not protect civilians?’
The actress also raised questions on the security arrangements in her post. He wrote that India is capable of protecting its borders and successfully operating major security operations. He asked, “When we can successfully conduct complex national security operations and defend our borders at full capacity, why do we have difficulty keeping people safe from crime in our own cities and communities?” This question of his has become a topic of much discussion on social media.
