Devotees and tourists will get high level facilities in 300 bed deluxe dormitory, work will start soon
Only a few days are left for the organization of Mahakumbh-2025 mega festival in the Sangam city of Tirtharaj Prayagraj, in such a situation the Yogi government is accelerating the work of strengthening all the preparations. Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department and Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation Limited (UPSTDC) are setting up tent cities for pilgrims and tourists at various places in the fair area. In this sequence, by increasing the tent based deluxe accommodation facility by UPSTDC, the work of setting up a dormitory with 300 beds in the Maha Kumbh Mela area will soon be expedited. It is noteworthy that a total of 50 tents will be established under this 300-bed deluxe dormitory. Out of this, 20 tents with 4 beds, 10 tents with 6 beds and 20 tents with 8 beds will be installed.

Each tent will be of 250 to 400 square feet.
As per the intention of CM Yogi, the tent cities which are being constructed and operated in the Maha Kumbh Mela area are being developed as per the needs of foreign tourists, special and very special guests and common pilgrims. In this sequence, the diameter of each tent in the new 300-bed deluxe dormitory that will be established and operated by UPSTDC will range from 250 square feet to 400 square feet. These tents will also be established and operated by UPSTDC on the lines of the villas and super deluxe tents established in Aral, which will help groups of tourists and devotees staying in these tents to stay together and avail the world class facilities in the Mahakumbh area. Will get it.
Many types of facilities will be available in tents
- These tents will have facilities like AC, double bed, mattress, sofa set, customized interiors, writing desk, electric geyser, fire extinguishers, quilt, blanket, mosquito net, WiFi, dining area and common sitting area, waiting lounge and meeting lounge. Which will provide the experience of observing pleasant environmental scenes along the river banks.
- Apart from providing these tents by UPSTDC, packages including Sangam boat ride, sofa boat ride, banana boat ride, cruise ride, worship at Prayagraj Sangam and darshan of pilgrimages of religious and mythological importance of Prayagraj will also be available.
- In the food, the guests are offered toast, milk-cornflakes, sweet curd, sprouts, freshly cut fruits, hot chocolate shake, puri-sabzi, South Indian cuisine and various types of parathas, thal and vegetables and green tea, masala tea, normal tea and Beverages such as coffee will also be available.
- These packages will also include providing information about yoga and cultural events. These tents will mainly operate between January 13 and February 26.
