Deputy CM inaugurates POCT Pathology Lab established in Central Hospital premises

News from Lucknow Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak on Wednesday inaugurated the Point of Care Testing (POCT) Pathology Lab equipped with state-of-the-art facilities at the Central Hospital of Mahakumbh Complex in Prayagraj. Also inspected the Central Hospital premises and met the patients admitted here and obtained information regarding the hospital arrangements. Instructions were given to the doctors and para medical staff posted here to take proper care of the patients. He said that taking care of the health of all the devotees coming to Mahakumbh is our top priority.

Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, who reached Prayagraj late on Wednesday evening, inspected the Central Hospital established in the Mahakumbh complex. Inquired about the well-being of the patients. He inaugurated the POCT Lab equipped with state-of-the-art facilities here. This lab has also been named State of the Art Smart Central Pathology Lab. This lab has been prepared with two and a half times more capacity than the previous Maha Kumbh. The Deputy Chief Minister said that state-of-the-art facilities have been provided in this lab.

According to Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, important testing services like sugar, liver function test, kidney function test, thyroid, hemoglobin, electrolyte and immune test etc. have been provided in this hi-tech lab. This entire system will be operated round the clock. He said that more than a hundred health workers have also been deployed here. Their health report will be sent to the patient in a paperless manner through WhatsApp or SMS, which will make the process fast, transparent and convenient.

He informed that 12 sector hospitals have also been established in the Mahakumbh complex. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said that so far more than ten thousand patients have been treated in Mahakumbh. Devotees are getting treatment in every corner of Mahakumbh. The 25 bedded Sub Central Hospital located at Arail is also equipped with modern facilities. OPD of 900 patients was done in the Central Hospital on the very first day of the New Year.

Three children (Kumbh, Ganga and Jamuna Prasad) are born in the Central Hospital. All three mother and child are healthy and under medical care. High quality treatment is being provided to all the patients, proper treatment is being provided to the patients, it is our joint responsibility, during the inspection of the Central Hospital, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak also interacted with the patients. Also, in the review meeting with the Health Department officials, he said that it is the joint responsibility of all of us to provide high level health benefits to the devotees coming to the Mahakumbh complex. No patient coming to the hospital should be turned back. They should be sent only after treatment and providing medicines.
