Dhamandhar 2’s blast: Pan-India release on Eid 2026, will create a stir in Telugu-Tamil-Kannada-Malayalam along with Hindi.
Mumbai. The sequel of the blockbuster film Dhurandhar will have a pan-India release in five languages on the occasion of Eid 2026. The film Dhurandhar, which has created history at the box office after its release in Hindi, is now ready to return on an even bigger scale. Dhurandhar 2 will be released on Eid 2026 on 19 March 2026. The film will be released simultaneously in five languages, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, making it a true pan-India film.
Although Dhurandhar was released only in Hindi, it received an overwhelming response in South India. Due to discussion on social media, word of mouth and repeated viewings, there was a huge craze about the film among the audiences there. Distributors and theater owners in the South had also continuously raised the demand for a dubbed version.
Seeing this natural demand from the audience, and keeping in mind the South Indian audience in India as well as abroad, the makers have decided that Dhurandhar 2 will be released in all major languages from the very beginning. The film is being directed by National Award winner Aditya Dhar and produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios.
Dhurandhar 2 will take both the story and action on a bigger scale than ever before. The film is currently in post-production and is being touted to be one of the most talked about and most awaited Indian films of 2026. Apart from India, the makers are also exploring the possibility of mainstream release in some foreign markets.
