Dhami became ‘Dhurandhar’ from ‘Dhaakad’! Rajnath Singh’s claim – Government will be formed again by hitting a six in 2027
Tezzbuzz Desk – In the politics of Uttarakhand, activities have intensified regarding the 2027 assembly elections. Meanwhile, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has praised Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and has now called him ‘Dhurandhar’ after ‘Dhakad’. His statement is being considered a big political message in the election environment.
In fact, the Defense Minister, who was on Uttarakhand tour, while addressing a public meeting, reminded of the 2022 assembly elections. He said that at that time he had called Dhami a ‘Dhakad’, but seeing the functioning of the state government in the last four years, he has now come to the conclusion that Dhami is working like a ‘Dhurandhar’.
‘Four in four years, now six left’
Comparing Chief Minister Dhami’s tenure with cricket, Rajnath Singh said that he has hit a ‘four’ in the first four years and is preparing to hit a ‘six’ in his sixth year by 2027. He expressed confidence that under the leadership of Dhami, the Bharatiya Janata Party can return to power for the third consecutive time.
Appreciation of government’s work
The Defense Minister openly appreciated various schemes and decisions of the state government. He said that the government has done remarkable work in the fields of women empowerment, military welfare, economic development and infrastructure.
He especially described the decision to implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) as historic and said that it is a big step towards empowering women. He also praised the action against illegal infiltration and the anti-copying law.
election signals intensified
This statement of Rajnath Singh is being seen as the first glimpse of BJP’s campaign for the 2027 assembly elections. This political branding from ‘Dhakad’ to ‘Dhurandhar’ clearly indicates that the party is preparing to enter the electoral fray under the leadership of Dhami.
