South’s famous actor-filmmaker Dhanush is seen embroiled in a legal dispute regarding an old project. According to reports, a legal notice of Rs 20 crore has been sent to him due to a film signed in 2016.

According to the report, Thenandal Films claims that Dhanush had signed a film named ‘Naan Rudran’ in the year 2016. He was not only going to play the lead role in this project, but he also had the responsibility of direction. However, it is alleged that the shooting of the film never started, due to which the production house suffered huge financial losses.

The company says that so far around Rs 20 crore has been spent on this project. This also includes the expenses related to the artists and technical team. According to reports, names like Nagarjuna Akkineni and SJ Suryah were among the artists associated with the film, the expenses on which have also been claimed by the production house.
