Dhruv Rathee is finally responding to the ongoing Janhvi Kapoor thumbnail backlash as he takes responsibility for his bold statement.
In an exclusive video, the famous YouTuber came forward and shared his stance on the speculation surrounding his disapproval of Janhvi’s latest gesture.
Dhruv, previously accused of using a before-and-after image of the Bollywood star to criticise fake beauty and cosmetic procedures, led several social media users to believe otherwise.
The video, originally created to raise awareness, instead snowballed into a major controversy.
The viral claim sparked outrage as soon as it gained momentum, with the caption, “Wake Up Hindus. Janhvi Kapoor posted for Bangladeshi Hindu & Dhruv Rathee made a video questioning her beauty.”
Responding to the online drama, Rathee questioned the mindset of people.
He said, “God has given you a brain, why don’t you use it? You’ll keep blindly believing whatever posts the BJP’s IT cell puts out. First of all, I uploaded a half-hour-long video on the very same day Janhvi Kapoor shared her post. Is that even realistically possible?”
The YouTuber openly challenged his critics, further adding, “I’m not like you people who criticise someone indirectly. I say whatever I have to say directly to their face. I’m not afraid of your father, and I’m not afraid of any Bollywood celebrity either.”
While Rathee has openly shared his thoughts on the speculation, Janhvi has yet to comment on the controversy.
