This film has taken Indian cinema to a new height, seeing which the heart becomes happy. Usually it takes three weeks for a film to do well, but here the film has done wonders in just 21 days. This is a very good thing for the entire film industry. Only when films do good business, artists like us get good opportunities to give interviews and connect with the audience. If films flop, there is no platform left for such conversations.
Didn’t follow the trend
When he was asked whether the film ‘Dhurandhar’ was made to answer the wave of action films going on nowadays, Akshay Kumar clearly said that his team did not follow any trend. He kept the entire focus on making the story strong. Akshay Kumar further said, ‘Dhurandhar is mainly made for the older audience (adult audience). It has realistic action and a strong story. My film ‘Bhoot Bangla’ has been made for children and the entire family. On one hand a film with action and realism, on the other a fun family horror comedy. It is a very good thing for us that different types of films are played. When all the films do well, the entire industry becomes stronger.

‘Dhurandhar 2’ is also making a huge splash at the box office. Worldwide collection has reached Rs 829.76 crore in just 6 days of release. Even on Monday, a huge crowd of spectators was seen in the theatres. About Bhoot Bangla: Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited film Bhoot Bangla is a horror comedy. It is jointly produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures and Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films. This film is Akshay Kumar’s second Hindi horror comedy after Priyadarshan’s old hit film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ (2007). ‘Bhoot Bangla’ is going to be released in theaters on 10 April 2026. Along with Akshay Kumar, veteran actors like Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Vamika Gabbi, Rajpal Yadav, Mithila Palkar, Jissu U Sengupta and Manoj Joshi will be seen in important roles in the film.
