Owaisi called ‘Dhurandhar 2’ nonsense

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film Dhurandhar 2 was called nonsense by Lok Sabha MP and President of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), Asaduddin Owaisi. Recently in a summit he described the film as ‘nonsense’ and said – ‘What is that picture? Three hours of nonsense. I don’t have enough time to watch a three-hour movie. I just hope that when I speak for an hour, people listen to me.

Mentioned about Muslims and the dead

Asaduddin Owaisi talked about the abuses shown in the film. He said- ‘What else is there in this film apart from promoting abuses and violence? After watching for three hours, a question arises in the mind whether it is necessary to abuse Muslims or not. Who has so much time to see all this? At the same time, when he was asked that the world is watching the film and people are also liking it. On this, Owaisi replied sarcastically – ‘We say in Hyderabad that dear, don’t take these things to heart, take them to the dead body. So we take it to the dead body and leave it.

Controversy broke out over propaganda

Let us tell you, some people are calling Dhurandhar 2 a spy thriller, while some are calling it a propaganda film. Now this debate has reached Wikipedia. If we look at the Wikipedia page of Dhurandhar 2, the word propaganda is written about 30 times in the entire article. The controversy grew so much that Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales had to give a statement. He said that if there is no consensus on something then it cannot be written directly as a fact. He also clarified that a word like propaganda can be mentioned in the article but Wikipedia cannot present it as its voice or fact. Currently, this film is being defined on Wikipedia as an Indian Hindi-language spy action-thriller film.

Collection of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ till now

‘Dhurandhar 2’ had earned Rs 43 crore in paid reviews. After this, a collection of Rs 102.55 crore was made on the opening day. It earned Rs 80.72 on the second day, Rs 113 on the third day, Rs 114.85 on the fourth day, Rs 65 crore on the fifth day, Rs 56.55 on the sixth day, Rs 47.70 on the seventh day and Rs 49.70 crore on the 8th day. At the same time, now the earnings for the 9th day have been revealed, which is the lowest till date. According to Saknilk data, on the 9th day the film made a net collection of Rs 41.55 crore in India. Now the total net collection has increased to 715.72 crores and the domestic gross collection has been 854.99 crores. At the same time, the worldwide gross collection has reached Rs 1128.99 crore.
