‘Dhurandhar 2’ makers change trailer plans, no event this time
As the release date is near the makers of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge have changed their plans about the trailer launch, and this time they are keeping it simple.
After weeks of reports that the trailer would launch on March 5 at Mumbai’s famous Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, the team has decided to go another way.
According to a source, “Dhurandhar: The Revenge’s trailer will now come earlier than expected. It is now likely to be unveiled on Tuesday, March 3, on the auspicious occasion of Holi. However, no event will take place and the makers will drop the promo digitally.”
This is quite different from the first film’s big moment. The original trailer was unveiled at the same venue in front of nearly 2,000 fans of Ranveer Singh.
It was one of the grandest events of 2025 and people spoke about it for days. Now, the sequel is choosing phones over flashbulbs.
There is another surprise. The runtime has been locked at 3 hours and 55 minutes. That makes it one of the longest Hindi films ever, after Tamas, LOC: Kargil, Mera Naam Joker, and Sangam.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film is already creating buzz. Reports say the trailer will show Ranveer Singh in a “full-blown action avatar” and that the film is bigger and bolder this time.
Produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the spy drama releases on March 19, 2026. It will clash with Toxic.
After the first film became a box office sensation, expectations are high. This time, the makers seem confident enough to let the work speak for itself.
This spy thriller stars Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi.
